It may be just a small town, but Beeton has now been around for a long time - 125 years.
The fact that it has kept its historic roots intact is a big plus for a place that was once known as Bee-town. A reference to the bee keeping activities that once took place there and have given the town its modern name.
Residents and visitors turned out for the 125th celebration over the weekend, then followed up with the annual Meet Your Neighbour picnic the following day.
There were opening remarks by local dignitaries including followed by a street festival which included vendor booths, artwork, street performances and music.
