Blondie performed at Casino Rama to a packed crowd on September 9.
Debbie Harry took the stage looking like the
original punk princess that she is.
She opened the show with Union, Dreaming,
Atomic and Call Me.
Blondie's original members, Debbie Harry,
Chris Stien and Clem Burke played several
new songs in addition to their classic hit
"Rapture".
Don't forget that they included a
rap in this song when rap
was unheard of.
Harry did her rap during the
song but also segwayed
into "You got to Fight for Your Right to Party" by the Beastie
Boys.
Harry danced and twisted and salsa danced throughout the show and her voice sounded great.
They finished the set with mega hit "One Way or Another".
They encored with an uptempo punk version of the Titanic
movie theme song "My Heart Will Go On" and ended the night with "Heart of Glass".
