Canada Day 2011
Riverdale Park awash in red and white

Canadians in general seem to have a rather understated way of displaying our
national pride.
But isn't that in itself, a way of defining us? Make no mistake, the fact that we
don't go hog-wild for national celebrations doens't mean we aren't proud of
our country and all that has been accomplished here.
The annual New Tecumseth Canada Day celebrations took place at Riverdale
Park in Alliston.
The opening ceremonies paved the way for a day of music, dance and
demonstrations.
The ceremony also coincided with the opening of the newly rebuilt Rotary
pool in the park
