David Cassidy
at Casino Rama
70's teen idol, David Cassidy hit the stage at Casino Rama Friday night. (March 4)
Despite the lousy weather, thousands of his fans came out to see the pop star from the Partridge Family.
With a huge smile on his face and his tongue firmly planted in his cheek, he relived stories from his TV days and his love of Canadian hockey and weather.
He performed all his hit songs(Get Happy, Albuquerque, I'll Meet You
Halfway,I Woke Up In Love
) along with songs that inspired him growing up (Hush by Deep Purple to In my Life by John Lennon.)
He performed accustically for a few songs and then took to the drumkit while his drummer Terry Cote came up front and sang Brass in Pocket by the Pretenders.
He ended the show by thanking his fans for the last 40 years and then sang I Think I Love You.
