Eight contributing artists from the Around the Corners Studio Tour gather during a preview of the upcoming tour.
Around the Corners Studio Tour
The fourth annual Around the Corners Studio Tour  will take place on Friday,  November 11, from 6-9 p.m., and on Saturday, November 12, from 10am to 4pm.
The tour features 21 local artists at seven locations around Cookstown and will kick off the same night as Cookstown Light Up Night.
The stops, which include the Cookstown Library as well as artists' homes and studios, are within walking distance or a short drive of each other so art enthusiasts can enjoy the historic ambience of the village.
Work by tour artists will also be on display at the Cookstown Antique Market from Oct. 18, to Nov. 15.
"You can visit all the studios and see the artists at work," says contributing artist Cindy Roddick-Smith. "You can get all your Christmas shopping done. As co-founders of the tour we work really well together. Come see our craft!."
The Tours' kick off coincides with Light Up night so there will be lots to see in addition to the tour.
As special fire show will take place at the library after the evening parade through town.
And if you come early to the parade, you just might see some surprise things going on.
"We are bringing in a few more artists from Innisfil this year," says artist and Tour organize Ruth Draper. "There are 21 artist in total including ten that will be at the library."
