     Crystal Kellard representing the Beeton Santa Claus Parade Committee supported by the Beeton-Tottenham Business Improvement Association (BTBIA) presents cash prizes to winners of the Beeton Santa Claus Parade Poster Contest.
     First prize of $30 was awarded to Jessica Dockeray and Roland Stimpfig from Tecumseth South Public School who chose to work together on creating a poster (pictured on the left).
     Second place also from Tecumseth South went to Desiree Barrett (unavailable for photo, artwork on the right) who won $20.
     Third place of $10 was awarded to Taylor Tatton of Tecumseth Beeton PS.
     These four young budding artists are also now invited to act as Honorary Parade Float Judges on November 27th.
     Winning posters will be used in the advertising campaign for the parade.
     “The Committee is still seeking vendors for an outdoor Crafter Vendor Market. There is no charge for crafters to showcase their wares that will operate from 9am-1pm on the green space at Centre and Main Streets but there is a registration process,” says Kellard.
     She also goes on to say that ““Parade entry forms are due by November 15th and I encourage all within our community to get involved.” 
     Registration forms for floats, bands and the Crafter Vendor Market may be picked up at the following locations: D.A Jones Library, All Things Silver, Muddy Water Hotel and Ken & Bonnie’s Beeton Foodland.
