Letter to the Editor:
Thank you to everyone who participated and volunteered in the Parade and Festival of Lights this past Saturday.
It was great to see such a fantastic turn out to both events. It’s all about community.
Thank you to F&P Manufacturing Inc. for their generous parade sponsorship and the Town of New Tecumseth for their assistance.
The Tottenham Community & Fitness Centre was a great venue for the Festival of Lights, and we thank all the staff for their involvement this year.
To the Tottenham Foodland, Dairy Queen, Tim Horton’s, Pharmasave, All Things Silver and Gigi’s Green Beans Café, thank you for providing the prize packs for the Festival of Lights, and parade float winners.
Parade float winners: 1st Place Commercial Float: Keogh Construction, 2nd Place Commercial Float: F&P Manufacturing Inc., 1st Place Community Float: 1st Tottenham Scouts and 2nd Place Community Float: Tottenham Co-operative Preschool.
Festival of Lights winners: Richard White and Terry Brown, Mark & Sue Turner, and the Brennan Family.
Best Storefront display went to, A Taste of Freedom Restaurant & Country Inn.
Also thank you to all our local businesses who volunteer the time and financial support necessary to make this, and many other community events successful through their contributions to the BTBIA.
