New Tecumseth Singers will perform Messiah

The New Tecumseth Singers invite all to join them in celebrating their love for the season of Christmas with the magnificent story of the life of Christ, displayed in the musical brilliance of Messiah by G.F. Handel.
Joining conductor Sharon Poelstra for this performance in the 20th anniversary season is one of the choir’s founders, the celebrated John Doddington as bass soloist. Returning to sing the contralto solo selections is Bradford musician, singer and teacher Heather Farris.
The tenor soloist, Stephan Fehr, comes from Toronto and the soprano solos will be shared between Tottenham soprano Sunyatta Guild and Grace Rogers from Uxbridge.
Internationally renowned organist Ian Sadler will again be performing on pipe organ at St. John’s United Church in Alliston for two Sunday afternoon performances: November 27 and December 4, both at 3 p.m.
Tickets are available at Lloyd’s Papermoon Gallery in Alliston, Guild Chiropractic Clinic in Tottenham or from members of the choir.
