Lawrence Lindsay School of Music
The Lawrence Lindsay School of Music will perform an early summer concert at the Gibson Centre in Alliston on June 5 - at 2:00 p.m.
The concert will feature the Lam-Dang twins.
They are to top classical pianists at the grade 10 level and will perform a variety of classical pieces by Bach, Beethoven, and others.
The concert will feature special guest appearances by clarinetist Sean Derraugh, violinist Wesley Bells, and vocalist Thompson Sommerville.

New Tecumseth Singers
The New Tecumseth Singers held a Spring concert at St. Andrews church in Alliston on May 13.
The concert,
titled A
Special Kind
of Feeling
presented a wide variety of music from show tunes to pop including a medley of old ABBA tunes.
Part of the cultural fabric of New Tecumseth since 1992, the choir performs a broad range of musical styles from jazz and pop
to world music and classical.

proved to be a spectacular success
raising $210,000 towards the goal
of bringing state of the art
Mammography equipment to

Simcoe Country Ramblers
In Tottenham
The Simcoe County Ramblers made an appearance in Tottenham as part of the Simcoe County Arts Councils Arts on Main Festival.
It was an all day music fest to celebrate a life and to raise funds for the Patrick Conry Trust for struggling musicians.
PadtStock '11 took place in Alliston
on Saturday, May 28, with a
full line-up of local talent.
Patrick Conry passed away in
May 2010, and left behind a
legacy of his love for music, many friends and a loving family.

As of July 11, the entire facility is smoke free - and that includes the building, parking lot and surrounding grounds.

Comedy of Errors brings slapstick to outdoor
theatre

birth. You just know that's going to
cause trouble somewhere

Shakespear Co. presentation of

With 162 members, the Nottawasaga Men's Golf Association obviously like to have a lot of fun on the links.
