Roll up the Rim prize winner in Tottenham
Rumors were swirling around Tottenham a couple of months ago when word of a big winner in the Tim Horton's Roll up the Rim to Win promotion spread through town. Turns out they were more than rumors.
Greg Dickson did indeed win a Toyota Matrix after purchasing a medium size coffee.
He received his car on Monday May 16 at the restaurant.
Now living in Orangeville, Greg and his wife Mariska had just purchased a new home.
"I was secretly hoping to win a bar-be-que," he said, for the new home. But when he rolled up the rim to discover he had won a new car - even better.
Greg bought his medium coffee on a Thursday night on his was to a rehersal in Bolton. He is the music director at Grace Church.
"I was running late," he said, "And I didn't open cup til the next morning. I was hoping to maybe win a free coffee."
When he rolled up the rim, he was suprised to see the word "free" followed by "Matrix."
Needless to say, there was a lot of excitement around the Dickson home that morning.
Greg and his family came to the Tottenham Tim Horton's on Monday to get his new car.
