Trans Siberian Orchestra wowed the crowd at Casino Rama on Wednesday May 20.
They performed their classic album "Beethoven's Last Night".
The narrator went on to tell the Story of Beethoven and his 10th
symphony that he completed.
The Devil comes to him that night and wants to trade Beethoven his hearing in exchange for his music.
Beethoven struggles with this dilema but only has an hour to make his
choice.
In the meantime, he is reminded of love lost due to his lack
of hearing but also of how much the world loved his music.
In the end,
the Devil seeing that his offer is going to be turned down, changes
his threat to affect an innocent child.
Beethoven cannot accept this cruel turn of events and Fate steps in to write up a contract giving the Devil Beethoven's 10th symphony in exchange for the childs well being.
The show headed up by Al Pitrelli and Chris Cafferty featured eight
Toronto symphony members as well as multiple backup singers and
musicians from around the world.
It also featured pryotechniques and an incredible laser show.
A definate must see show.
