VEGAS night in Tottenham
Tottenham had the definite feeling of being in fabulous Las Vegas over the weekend during a night of Vegas style
entertainment at the community centre.
Hosted by the Tottenham Lions club and presented by Franki & Johnie Concert Promos, the event was the second benefit
concert staged at the community centre.
Elvis, aka John Cigan, took the stage first in a tribute to Elvis' early years with many of his songs from the 1950s.
Next up was the man from Brooklyn - Neil Diamond, as performed by Mark Thomas.
It was easy to sing along with the songs as he nailed the Diamond experience with most of the singers top hits.
Strutting out in a flashy sequen covered jacket, Al Ross, was the image of Tom Jones - complete with the moves and the attitude to match.
Elton John splashed onto the stage next and provide a full set up tunes that again, you would know the words to.
Marcus Wells, had the character down pat - both in looks and in the vocals.
The show stopper came when Elvis returned - a little later in life, in his trademark jump suit.
The big hit of the night was when Elvis came on stage and performed My Way - just like the king himself.
The singers were backed up by Gerie and the Koasters, and back up vocals by the Tonettes.
There will be more events coming again and we'll keep you posted for the big Vegas night in Tottenham.
